Copy ID

When creating an account, we ask you to upload a copy of your ID. We do this for a few reasons:

  • To prevent fraud
    We are obliged to check the identity of our customers
  • To accept and/or pick up your parcels
    When accepting or picking up your parcel, the carrier or pick-up point may ask for a copy of the recipient’s ID

Which ID’s are accepted?

  • Passport

  • National Identity Card (NIC)

  • Dutch driving license

  • Dutch immigration document

The copy ID must be clearly legible. The front and back are also often required when information is stated on the back.

If desired, you can hide the photo and the social security number. The MRZ code must be visible for foreign ID’s.

Your data is safe with us

Your data and documents are stored encrypted in our database and we handle it very carefully. So you do not have to worry that your data will be shared or just end up on the street somewhere. We take the privacy and the protection of personal data very seriously and this can also be read in our privacy statement.
