More and more people are shopping online and customers from all over the world know where to find the various webshops in Europe. Because most webshops do not deliver to every country, PriParcel offers a solution that is in high demand: a delivery address in the Netherlands / Europe.
PriParcel receives, consolidates and forwards parcels anywhere in the world. Our customers now come from 88 countries of the world without us having made any kind of advertising.
Internship: developing the Chinese market
From the end of August/beginning of September 2022 we have room for a:

The growth that PriParcel has experienced in recent years has mainly arisen from organic search results in Google and through the cooperation with PriPost. However, we have come to a point where we want to focus more on certain markets to grow, including the Chinese market. This is because affluent Chinese consumers like to buy products in Europe, for which PriParcel offers an extremely convenient solution.
The aim of this internship is to make PriParcel known to the Chinese consumer who likes to shop in Europe, so that they will use PriParcel to receive and forward their goods.
What are you going to do
- Investigate where this target group is located and how they currently order and receive their European products
- Investigate how we can reach them and which channels we can use
- Elaborate the results of the research into a go-to-market plan
- Start the roll-out of the plan by setting up and carrying out certain activities
Who are you
You are a real China fan and you already know that market somewhat because you are already moving around in it and it really interests you. To find answers to our questions, you quickly know where to look and dive into it with full dedication. You are practical and result-oriented, allowing you to quickly convert your findings into concrete actions. You become happy when you actually contribute to growth and improvement and in that way are really part of the team.
Besides that:
- You are studying International business (with a specialization in the Asian market)
- You have a very good command of the English language
- And you cheerful, enterprising and eager to learn
The offer
PriParcel is part of the PriGroup and the team you will be part of consists of a total of 20 people of different ages and backgrounds. Some work largely at home and some work at our head office in Pijnacker, where the PriParcel warehouse is also located.
You are given the freedom to largely determine yourself where and when you work, as long as there is sufficient coordination and communication. You will be guided by one of the owners of the company, with whom you can consult regularly.
The team is compact, which means you get to know a lot about everything that is involved in building, professionalizing and expanding a young and growing company internationally. Especially when you work in the office, you will regularly participate in ad hoc brainstorms to come up with solutions for the challenges that come our way.
The atmosphere is very informal, open and direct, so that everyone can be themselves and know where they stand. We all enjoy lunch together and now and then we have a ‘tosti-break’, a pancake lunch or a ‘vrijmibo’ (Friday afternoon drink) where all colleagues come together.
You will of course receive a compensation for your internship, which depends on the number of days in the week that you do your internship.
